Greetings Brethren,
We have another year to explore our lives and move forward in our journey. This is a time in our lives to evaluate our past, Learn from our mistakes, and keep a positive mind as we go into this new year. Hope all of you had a great holiday season. My Christmas was as always a time to visit my family and catch up with them.
My thinking this year is to reach out, and bring some of our brothers back to the Lodge. I understand the COVID thing, yet I have seen a drastic decrease of participation within the Lodge. I’ve seen this even before the pandemic. Family first is part of our tradition, yet I feel we can reintroduce some of our brothers to consider coming back into the Lodge.
It was suggested to me to present some of my ideas into the Lodge. I have studied music theory and its origins. I’m working on something explaining the Pythagorean theorem. Pythagoras’s math is the basis of modern western music. Considering when he made his calculations (around 500 BC) is quite incredible. His calculations are still used to this day.
