The officers of a Lodge form the leadership for both internal and external operations. Most lodges have a line of officers that progress through the chairs from lowest rank to highest (advancing/progressing line). Terms of office typically last one year and our local election of officers occurs on our Annual Communication with an installation that happens in December of each year.
Lodge elections each year select the top five officers, which are: Worshipful Master (WM), Senior and Junior Wardens, Treasurer and Secretary. From there, the elected WM appoints members to the remaining stations in the lodge.
