Good evening Brethren!
We’re about to come back for our last few meetings of 2021.
It’s funny thinking about the fact that my year in the East is nearly complete. We’ve had some great meetings and even better social times together this year and I hope I represented the Lodge well.
In Lodge news, we’re looking at a “Paint and Pour” event in October. We did one before and had a great time. We still tell stories about that afternoon and the paintings that came out of it. Even had a couple of them hang in the eating area for a while. We’ll send out more info once it’s solidified for those interested.
Last week we held a “Rusty Nail” event for those members that felt they weren’t sure of the proper protocols during meetings. We even covered purging the lodge, something we haven’t done in years.
Sunday night Social is alive and well with a rotating group of brothers and their significant others coming up each week to enjoy drinks, snacks, and laugh far too much. I encourage you to drop by after 7:30 on Sundays. We only hang out for a couple hours, but it’s a great ending to the weekend.
If you haven’t already, make sure to add the third Wednesday of each month to your calendar for Lodge nights. I look forward to seeing Brothers up there, regardless of how long it’s been since they’ve been around.
As always, if you need anything please reach out to myself or any of the other officers.
Sincerely and Fraternally,
Jason Owen, WM.
